Celebrating the 80's

Last night my friends, Ashley and Cheri, and I threw a suprise 80's Birthday Bash for Hyrum and Spencer. It was "like totally rad"! Highlights of the night: 80's bangs pulled off by Shelly, the Rubik Cube birthday cake, high top Velcro shoes by Dan, watching Hyrum demonstrate a transformer, and having a grand old time dressing up and hanging out with friends! Happy 30 Hyrum, you old man.

Monday Night at the Tide Pools

We had a fun FHE last Monday and ventured out to some tide pools. We had a limited amount of time before the sun set but we also didn't have that much sanity trying to keep the kids safe. We saw two starfish, crabs, fish, anemones, and had a blast. (The picture with Candice and the kids is showing one of the starfish.) The lighting was so amazing that we even had Tommy snap a couples picture....don't you think he did a good job?

Halloween Week

Halloween week was one for the books. First a girls trip to San Francisco. My Mom and two sisters flew out and we had a blast with out kids and husbands. Wicked was by far the highlight!

The two pirates enjoying their spoils at the end of a long day.

Carving pumpkins is always a treat.

Caroline

Tidbits of Caroline
1. She rarely speaks. She can say words, she just isn't a natural talker which evens out the talking in our house. Hyrum and Tommy vs. Me and Caroline.
2. She sticks out in a crowd. In Fremont white is the minority and when you add a bleached blond blue eyed girl to the mix, you get a lot of recognition.
3. She does not watch TV. She only will pay attention if she is strapped in her car seat and Baby Einstein is playing.
4. She is a ballerina in training. Not only is she already naturally petite, she walks around on her tiptoes all day long and loves to dance.

This and That

This week we were busy doing random things. A pumpkin patch, a new rug for underneath the table, church, and a toenail painting party.

Papa's Pumpkins

Thanks Papa for growing us our very own pumpkins and thanks Grandma for putting them in your carry-on and flying them to us!
