Time with a newborn can go so slow but so fast at the same time. My favorite time of day is when Tommy and Caroline play computer games...which means Tommy plays and Caroline watches. I let them play way to long but the house stays clean and quite so I let it slide. One day they were to lazy to get chairs so Tommy played standing up and Caroline with one leg dangling. Caroline is now the typical three year old, crazy independence. She was so excited to show me that she got her socks and shoes on all by herself. And with her pajama shirt tucked into her pull up and socks pulled up to her knees, showcases her lovely chicken legs, I had to take a picture. To bad she can go from so happy to so "special" because if she was smiling it would have been an even funnier picture. Tommy and Caroline love Emily and are my mommy and daddy's in training, they love to hold, sing, and play with her. Tommy calls her "my Ems" which I LOVE.
Our Ems is giving us a run for our money already. She is two months old and the majority of the time is a very calm and happy baby. When she is not happy she is a little crank! She get so mad and cries so hard (for about 30 seconds) that she wears herself out and will go pale as a ghost. We took her into the doctor to make sure there wasn't anything wrong and we were told, "it looks like she is going to have a fiery red head temperament." So it looks like our children can be summarized as: an energetic tank, a spicy 3 year old, and temper throwing 2 month old!
