Katherine is now 9 months old and is developing into her own personality. She is a master of the jumper. These pictures don't capture her true skill but I couldn't figure out how to transfer videos from my phone so these will have to do. She will bunny hop forward a few feet, let go to swing all the way back, and then continue with the bunny hop. It is pretty impressive to see how she has mastered getting the most adrenaline rush out of a baby swing. If I am doing the laundry she we run at me and hit my legs, she thinks she is funny but it actually hurts a lot getting hit repeatedly on the shin! She is a true mama's girl and complains anytime some one else holds her besides me. Hyrum is the one exception where we wont cry during the hand off.
She still has yet to crawl, has four teeth (two side tops and two middle bottoms), and loves to be held a lot. She also loves to sit in the same crib with Emily and watch Emily jump. They both giggle and it is fun to watch them interact in a positive way. Katherine loves to touch and pull on faces, noses, glasses, earrings, head bows, hair, etc. Every morning she checks to see if I am wearing earrings to play with. She loves to talk, jabber, and squawk. She has started to grind her teeth, when you feed her she gets so excited that she will flap her feet and hands, and still loves to suck her thumb.
