Katherine had the unfortunate encounter with a swing and has been wearing her battle wound with pride. I see it as proof that we are in fact having a fun filled, action packed summer. Lately our days include picking and perserving our garden spoils. The huge production this year has been pickling cucumbers and tomotoes, most of our squash has fallen victim to some type of bug. Just about everyday I am canning a batch of something and I can't wait to be done with it, is it possible to have a canning overload?
