Last night was Caroline's Christmas dance recital. She did good and was so excited to perform for us. This year one of her best friends Annie is in her class and it was so cute to see them dancing right next to each other. Her dancing was probably the only highlight of the night. Everything that could go wrong leading up to her recital did. Hyrum's be home at 5 got pushed back to 5:35 (really hard when we all needed to be feed and out the door at 6), our camera got left at the office, Katherine decided to need 100% attention and wanted held by me while trying to get dinner and Caroline ready, jumping in the car a little behind schedule and finding out the car battery was dead, frantically calling to get a ride so Caroline could make it to her recital (Hyrum had left with the other car to get the camera and save seats), one itchy costume that created lots of tears and messy make up, and one touchy toddler at the recital that wanted to run around the whole time. Luckily my parents excepted our last minute invite and were in route to the recital when I called them and they were able to get us there with one minute to spare. It was a very chaotic night!
