The projects on our house are never ending, and probably will be for the first year or two. Lately we have been working on getting the garage functioning. The previous owner had started to convert the garage into a mother-in-law apartment and used a portion of the back patio for a bedroom area. Well we have been demolishing all of his work because we want a garage and a larger back patio. It seems the money is just flying out the window and so it is nice to save a buck, or thousand, or two with projects we can handle. The kids are adjusting to more room to play and have started to find a couple of neighborhood friends.
