Last Sunday Emily broke her collarbone jumping on the tramp. It was sad to see her in so much pain but luckily she was very articulate about her neck hurting her as soon as it happened. We are lucky to have Dr. Eric as our go to orthopedic specialists and was able to treat her in the comfort of his home, we are so spoiled to have such an awesome brother in law! She is doing well and understands that she is hurt but still likes to run around like a 3 year old so it has been somewhat stressful this week trying to reign her in.
We were able to go to the Neilsen ranch for a night and the kids had fun riding real horses for their first time. I missed Tommy on a horse but I guess he said it went a little to fast for him and he preferred walking them instead. Caroline was a little cowgirl and loved every minute of it. She was so comfortable and at the end started controlling the horse herself. Emily also loved riding them and learning their names, she was able to go on a long 45 minute ride with Hyrum. Katherine didn't love it and had mixed feelings about riding the horses. She did her best ride with Josh because she was more afraid of Josh than the horse! It was such a fun night doing something new and spending it with friends. Even Tommy fell asleep on the way home!
