The first day of school was at the end of August. Tommy started 4th grade (Mrs. Miller), Caroline 3rd grade (Ms. Anderson), Emily Kindergarten (Mrs. Clark), and Katherine preschool (Mrs. Eggett). It breaks my heart to send Emily out the door every morning. She looks so little and innocent and I want her to just stay home all day long. She doesn't have any ward girl friends in Kindergarten but made friends the first day! She is so lucky to be on a soccer team with all Kindergarten girls from her school and she is already more social than any of my other kids. Tommy's teacher was diagnosed with breast cancer a month before school starts so Tommy will have a very unique school year. He loves it because they have pink candy by the buckets in his classroom. Caroline's teacher is teaching them how to create their own opera. We are in for one wild school year!
