Firenze

Florence Day 1:  Pisa, Duomo Museum, Duomo, and Campanile.  The first thing we did after arriving in Florence by train was to hop on another train to Pisa.  It was neat to see the Tuscan country side, instead of cow pastures there was sheep/goat pastures, and lots of vineyards.  The leaning tower was awesome to see!  After we got back from Pisa we went to the Duomo Museum, the Baptistery, and then climbed the steps of the Campanile.  Everything shuts down early in Florence so the nights were great for shopping, street eating, and people watching.
Florence Day 2: Uffizi Gallery, Pitti Palace, Ponte Vecchio, Accademia.  This was a full day of museums.  My favorites were seeing all the famous paintings at the Uffizi, especially Venus, walking the gardens of the Pitti Palace, looking at all the shops along the Ponte Vechio, and of course seeing David.  We walked a lot this day, this was a double gelato day.  Florence is a very charming city with high end jewelry shops all the way to street leather shops.
