Our garage for the past 2 weeks has been taken over by the paint shop. Hyrum has been hard a work making and finishing projects. First up was Tommy's headboard. Hyrum made it himself with a pattern from the internet and then painted it a bright red for Tommy's new room. The picture doesn't do it justice because it is still so new and shiny but it is awesome and impressive that Hyrum could build it (but then again, he does do a pretty good job at building up teeth so I shouldn't be to shocked!). Next up on the painting list is some bookcases for our downstairs entertainment center. We had leftover red paint from the headboard so we just decided to use it up. It is a very daring color for an entertainment center but hopefully with a little antiquing it won't be as bright. Hyrum's paint shop set up in the garage is quite impressive and apparently he can't get enough of it because he already has his next project lined up!
