Bountiful House

Well, it has been a crazy last two weeks to say the least.  We have always wanted more land but were not ready to move right now.  But then we saw this open house in an area of Bountiful that we have always loved and we decided to go because it was just an open house and Hyrum had that morning off.  We went through it I didn't think we were ready and the house does have some problems and will need some TLC.  After a month of thinking about it and having it be still on the market we finally got the guts to get an agent to walk through it again. 

The house was already entertaining another offer so we put one in not thinking we would have a chance.  Well, long story short, they liked our offer more and we are moving!!!

The house is on slightly over a half acre of relatively flat ground in a very established area of Bountiful.  Hyrum's commute will be cut down to 5 minutes tops, the kids will move schools, and we will be in a way smaller ward and primary.  We call it the "pink house" because the rain gutters, brick, and part of the garage are all painted pink.  And yes this will be our first TLC project!

We put our Centerville house on the market last Thursday, and by Saturday we had two solid offers.  As of yesterday we are under contract and looks like if everything goes smoothly, we will be moving in about a month, crazy!!

We are sad to move from our neighborhood and all of our friends.  This will be the biggest adjustment on me and the kids.  But in return we will be getting more space to run and I can do my dishes at look a my pretty view of the temple and not 5 other backyards.

The house is just under 4,000 square feet, six bedrooms, and was built in 1965.  Crazy to think this just happened in under two weeks.  We are ready to bring this house back to it's former glory.
