Emily turned 3 on St. Patrick's Day. Emily got the shaft on her Birthday because I was busy the whole day with Doctors appointments and our home inspection. I had found some lumps on my ribs and on top of the house situation I had to deal with the stress of unkown masses. After a long day at the hospital we found out that they are benign neurofibromas, which are basically nerve tumors. Luckily they are benign so I can hold off on surgery until things have settled down. So other than getting the shaft, Emily celebrated by having her Grandma tend her, ice cream at McDonalds, and a scrambled trip to Chuck-A-Rama for dinner. We even had to cut her dinner short because of a last minute home showing. Poor girl didn't get her cake and presents until the next day. Here are some of our favorite things about Emily:
- She loves to watch TV. She loves to watch her shows and could watch them all day long. She is obsessed.
- She is quite most of the time. She does love to talk, play, and be silly but she has an overall quite demeanor.
- Her favorite song is "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." Her favorite food is strawberries and pizza. She loves to play with her friends: Tyler, Sierra and Lucy. She loves monsters but hates worms, snakes, and any other type of bug.
- She loves Caroline and will go to her for emotional comfort, my favorite is when she prefers to have Caroline help her use the potty!
- She loves to play handheld electronic games, her favorite is cupcake maker.
- She loves to go swimming and has no fear of the water.
