Tommy and Caroline started at their new school, Oak Hills Elementary. Tommy started 2nd grade and Caroline 1st. I think they are adjusting okay to their new school and environment. They go happily and haven't had any major breakdowns about going. It is still sad for me to see them go knowing they really don't have any connections yet and hard to hear they just play by themselves at recess. They are also adjusting to walking home. At our old house the school was right next door and now we are 1/2 mile away. They complain the whole time and poor Caroline who is extra tired from a long day at school looks like she could drop dead every time she gets home.
