This weekend we were fortunate to have Aunt Shelley and cousin Ronin come to stay with us. We kept them busy and loved every minute of it. Here are some of the things we did.
San Francisco. I braved the trolley with two kids while Hyrum was at work. We also went to Fisherman's Wharf to see the sea lions and ride the carousel. Caroline loves animals and is not afraid when she sees dogs, cats, etc. But for some reason animals like sea lions makes her scared. Her face was similar to that picture the whole time.
Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Despite Tommy's face in this first picture, we had another great time and Hyrum and I even had time to go on some adult rides. I decided I am to old for the fireball.
And then, the two wild adventures to Six Flags and the beach. Six Flags was great but very, very hot. The picture is of the killer whale show where we were a little happier because of the shade. And the beach was freezing. It is a good thing we weren't planning on getting wet because it was Sunday because Caroline whole body turned blue after 5 minutes. The scenery was beautiful though and well worth the drive.
We had so much fun with the Schlichters. We can't wait for the Hegewalds to get here on Friday!
